It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a blog post. Lots of thing have been going on. I have had some health issues, and all is well. I’ve have some technical issues with the blog itself and I hired a wonderful web design company, Mandy Robertson Media, to re-design my blog and I’m ready to start anew.
But this time, it’s different. I’m blogging my thoughts and ideas for a book. Yes, I posted it for all to see and now I have to do it. It’s a book for the brave homeschooling parent. The parent who feels in their heart that God wants them to homeschool, yet is full of doubt; the parent who is stressed juggling all the stuff that their life entails and is determined to make it work; the parent who is trying to figure out how to raise a compassionate, strong, critical thinker who is bombarded by social media and the craziness that our society brings.
The book is also for the Christian parent who may not be homeschooling, but is intrigued by the idea. Their heart strings are tugging toward homeschooling and they feel that this is what God wants for their family, but… maybe they’ve thought about it and are afraid. Maybe they have friends who homeschool and think they couldn’t possibly do it. Maybe they don’t think they are smart enough, patient enough, or organized enough. Yet if God wants you to homeschool, then you are enough!
So my friends, look for my thoughts on a bi-weekly basis. I’ll be writing about the things I learned as I homeschooled my two amazing children, the things I did right, and the things I wish I would have done differently.
So remember that Jesus said in John 10:10
… I have come that they have life and have it to the full.
